About Dr. Vivek Jain

Dr. Vivek Jain is a highly respected internal medicine provider, and has been serving the Bay Area community for over 20 years.

Dr. Jain has had exemplary training at top universities. At Princeton University, he obtained his bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology, graduating with Honors. He then went on to the highly acclaimed University of California at San Francisco (UCSF) medical school. After that, he completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Stanford University.

After completing his training, Dr. Jain has worked in the Bay Area and has served thousands of patients. He was with the Palo Alto Medical Foundation (PAMF) in the Santa Clara division for several years. He then moved over to the Los Gatos branch, and served not only as an internist there, but also led the site for several years, managing numerous doctors, other medical providers, and staff. He also led the Blossom Hill branch of PAMF. In addition he was also the Chair & Associate Medical Director of the Quality Review Committee.

Dr. Jain has realized that he wants to take care of patients differently than they are taken care of in a traditional medical practice. He does not want to be constrained by either the insurance companies, or the big traditional practices. He wants to delve deeply into how to keep each one of his patients as healthy as he can for as long as he can. This type of care is not possible with a large patient panel, and so he has decide to accept a very limited number of patients – around just a 100 – that’s it!

In Dr. Jain’s Words

“I want to make you feel like you now have a doctor in the family.”

If you choose to join me, I will get to know you as a patient, as a person, and as a friend. I want to make you feel  like you now have a doctor in the family!

I will work hard to make our partnership maximally beneficial for you. I will provide my medical expertise and clinical experience to you every step of the way. We will have a 2-way dialogue of what should be done and why (often people don’t even get told of all the possible tests until disease already hits) and also of what need not be done and why (it’s not always best to do a test just because it’s available).

Together we will work towards understanding life factors that are working on you, what tests would help us determine your current state better, and how best to start the process of the optimally healthy you.
