About Dr. Daniel Ouyang
Dr. Daniel Ouyang is a highly regarded, Stanford-trained, internal medicine physician with deep roots in the Bay Area community. We are super excited that he will be joining the team at Aurum MD shortly!
Dr. Ouyang grew up in San Jose and attended high school at Bellarmine College Preparatory. He was a Regent’s Scholar at UC Berkeley, and graduated with high distinction. He attended the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. As one of the top students in his class, he was awarded membership into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.
Dr. Ouyang returned to the Bay Area to complete his residency in Internal Medicine at Stanford University Hospital. He also completed a fellowship in Sports Medicine at Stanford. During this time, Dr. Ouyang was prolific in clinical research. He authored and co-authored 10 different papers in peer reviewed journals. He received a number of awards for his research and presentations.
Since then, Dr. Ouyang has worked at the Palo Alto Medical Foundation (PAMF) at the Santa Clara division. He has not only taken care of thousands of patients there, but he has also served as the Adult Primary Care Department Lead for several years. In that capacity, he has managed and supervised multiple doctors and other care providers.
In addition, Dr. Ouyang has extensive experience in sports medicine. For a number of years, he served as the Primary Care Team Physician for the San Jose Earthquakes, the Bay Area’s professional Major League Soccer team. There he provided concierge level care to professional soccer players, as well as providing on-field medical coverage for all home games. As an avid basketball, golf, and pickleball player himself, Dr. Ouyang strongly believes that exercise and movement is the foundation to a healthy lifestyle.
Dr. Ouyang enjoys connecting one-on-one with his patients, and believes in providing thorough and in-depth care to them. He is excited to be joining the Aurum MD concierge medicine team, and is looking forward to this next step in his career.
